The Team played 18 games in 7 days and came in 2nd place at the Louisville Slugger 16U Tournament in Longmont, Colorado. In practice games the girls defeated perennial powers the Corona Angels and the Vienna Stars. After going 3-3 in pool play while losing 2 one run games the girls entered bracket play on Saturday. Outstanding pitching by Ciara Clampitt and clutch home runs by Alicia Van Winkle and Katelyn Standley were memorable highlights. After defeating the OC Batbusters in pool play the Glory faced them again in the championship game coming in second. The girls played solid defense and everyone hit the ball. It was a fourth of July we will never forget!!!
